Dr. Georgia Lymberopoulos
Welcome to the predental club! My name is Dr. Georgia Lymberopoulos, and I am pleased to serve as your official faculty supervisor. I attended UIC for my undergraduate degree, and Arizona School of Dentistry & Oral Health for my DMD and my MPH. I then practiced general dentistry before falling in love with academia and becoming a full-time faculty member at Missouri School of Dentistry & Oral Health. When my family relocated to Chicago in 2020, I joined the UIC College of Dentistry, and I am thrilled to wear several hats here, including that of Director of Undergraduate Predental Programs. At UIC, I primarily supervise third- and fourth-year dental students in the clinics, but I also work on preclinical courses, clinical research, interprofessional education, and serve on several committees, like the Admissions Committee. I am an avid dental journal reader, self-proclaimed home chef, and my exercise comes in the form of chasing my very active toddler. Please feel free to reach out to me for virtual or in-person advising, as I would love to help you with your struggles and celebrate your successes. I look forward to a great year with the PDC!!
